Silvana La Rosa is the founder & Chief Trainer of MindFocus. She created MindFocus as a platform to bring this knowledge and experience to organizations that recognize that people are their greatest strength.
She has a Degree in Economics and a Masters Certificate in Adult Training & Development from the Schulich School of Business and have completed the core Co-Active coaching courses at the Coaches Training Institute.
Her ability to deliver an informative, engaging and inspiring presentation with conviction and authenticity comes from her unique and personal understanding of what it means to survive debilitating depression and to come out the other side and learn to thrive. She understands what it’s like to be a high-functioning employee who is getting by but not operating at their peak and what it costs the organization in lost creativity and productivity.
She designs and facilitates workshops for forward-thinking law firms who want to address the growing concerns surrounding mental issues at work and the related costs of stress, anxiety, depression and burnout so that they can demonstrate social responsibility while protecting and enhancing their bottom line. Most recently, she collaborated with a licensed psychotherapist to design and facilitate a program on Mindfulness and Resiliency Training for Miller Thomson, a leading law firm in Toronto.
